Heat treatment | Quenching and tempering process Quenching temperature of 600 ~ 650 & ordm, heating temperature to 830 ~ 860 & ordm oil quenching. For large, complex mold, in order to reduce the quenching stress, avoid quenching flaws, can use broken precooling or interrupted quenching oil. After the mould from the furnace, first in air precooling to 750 ~ 800 ℃, and then quenching into 30 ~ 80 ℃ in the oil, until the mold temperature dropped to a little lower than Ms point temperature, air cooling, out of the oil and then as tempering tempering furnace |
